Ladies Day at the King's Centre with Guest Speaker Sarah Williams
God is a God of power and of intimacy who calls us to follow him and to walk hand in hand with him. We want to explore our identity in Christ - to know that we’re secure in who we are and how God sees us. That he made us and equipped us for all he has called us to and that we have a destiny and a purpose in him.
We want to set aside time to rest in God’s presence and hear what he would say to us today, to find out what he wants to release in us and to go wherever he calls us with faith & hope. Our expectation is that people leave more confident in who they are in Christ & better equipped to live life to the full.
Our speaker Sarah is a research professor from Regents college, Vancouver , she is also the author of a widely read spiritual autobiography entitled The Shaming of the Strong, in which she reflects theologically on contemporary debates surrounding identity and personhood. Sarah is married to Paul & they have recently moved back from Canada to the Cotswolds.
