Ladies Day - POSTPONED - More news to follow

Ladies Day at the King's Centre with Guest Speaker Sarah Williams

God is a  God of power and of intimacy who calls us to follow him and to walk hand in hand with him. We want to explore our identity in Christ - to know that we’re secure in who we are and how God sees us. That he made us and equipped us for all he has called us to and that we have a destiny and a purpose in him.

We want to set aside time to rest in God’s presence and hear what he would say to us today, to find out what he wants to release in us and to go wherever he calls us with faith & hope. Our expectation is that people leave more confident in who they are in Christ & better equipped to live life to the full.

Ladies Day.jpg

Our speaker Sarah is a research professor from Regents college, Vancouver , she is also the author of a widely read spiritual autobiography entitled The Shaming of the Strong, in which she reflects theologically on contemporary debates surrounding identity and personhood. Sarah is married to Paul &  they have recently moved back from Canada to the Cotswolds.

Cost: £20 before February 14th, £25 thereafter. It really helps our planning and the caterers if you book promptly. Please book by March 1st AT THE LATEST!!  (Any bookings after that will not be entitled to food).

Refresh - Walk and drink by the River

Hi lovely ladies, think lovely summer evening stroll along the Thames chatting with, and making new, friends! If it sounds appealing then please do join us on Friday 23rd June, as we walk from Wallingford to the waterfront cafe in Benson.

We will walk from Wallingford to the waterfront cafe in Benson. Meeting at 6pm at the Wallingford Riverside car park to walk and then have a drink at the café before walking back. If people would like food too then that would be an individual choice when we get there. I will book a table so they reserve us a table inside in case weather is not nice enough to sit outside. I could therefore do with knowing numbers asap so we have enough space reserved. Of course if it's sunny we could hopefully find space outside to sit somewhere. Please do remember to invite some friends to join you/us.
