The Church has a Rota for people serving on Sundays.

We have people regularly serving in the following Ministries.

  • Growzone - caring for and teaching primary age (Year R-6) children, normally during the sermon time, involves set up and tidy up afterwards, and typically some preparation

  • Youth - teaching secondary age (Year 7-13) young people, normally during the sermon time, may involve set up and tidy up afterwards, and typically some preparation

  • Set-up, and clear-up - unlocking building, setting out chairs, putting up signs, tidying up afterwards etc

  • Teas and coffees - preparing drinks, serving, clearing up afterwards

  • PA - setting up sound system before meeting, mixing sound during meeting and clearing up afterwards

  • Worship - playing/singing to help us in worshipping God, involves practicing beforehand on Sunday morning, and at other times

  • Welcoming - welcoming people into the building and stewarding those using the SOHA building for children’s work

  • Parking/stewarding - assisting with parking and directing people as required
