Our Sunday services are supported by a dedicated rota of volunteers.
Team members regularly serve in the following Ministries.
Creche - caring for babies and children (0-3 Preschool), normally during the sermon time, involves setting up the room with toys etc. before the start of the service and clearing away afterwards - this role requires going through our safeguarding process.
Growzone - caring for and teaching primary age (Year R-6) children, normally during the sermon time, involves set up and tidy up afterwards, and typically some preparation - this role requires going through our safeguarding process.
Youth - teaching secondary age (Year 7-13) young people, normally during the sermon time, may involve set up and tidy up afterwards, and typically some preparation - this role requires going through our safeguarding process.
Set-up, and clear-up - unlocking building, setting out chairs, putting up signs, tidying up afterwards etc
Teas and coffees - preparing drinks, serving, clearing up afterwards
PA - setting up sound system before meeting, mixing sound during meeting and clearing up afterwards
Worship - playing/singing to help us in worshipping God, involves practicing beforehand on Sunday morning, and at other times
Welcoming - welcoming people into the building and directing them to eg. toilets, children’s groups - requires being at church c.9.45am
Parking/stewarding - assisting with parking and directing people as required
