We believe God wants us to work in teams. Our church is led by an eldership team of eight people and we have lots of other teams that support and serve the church and the community.

Nick (Pastor) and Naomi White

Nick and Naomi came to Didcot in 1999 to help start the King’s Church. They met as students in Oxford and trained at King’s Bible College in Berwickshire before moving here. They have four rapidly growing up children, and enjoy walking, reading, watching cricket and thinking about gardening. Nick is employed as Pastor three days a week, and spends two days a week talking to people about gas! Naomi home educates and is employed by the church to oversee Children’s work. Nick and Naomi have particular responsibility for leading the team and strategic direction, preaching and teaching, discipleship, prayer and the spiritual side of Sunday mornings.

Richard and Tessa

Richard and Tessa have lived locally since 2000 and joined The King’s Church as their benchmark was that if a church was running Alpha, it was the one for them. Richard works as a lawyer and Tessa is a graphic designer and they have three children. Their focus and passion is all things family and are delighted to oversee the children’s work at church and are involved in running and coordinating parenting and marriage courses. When not at work or involved church activities, Richard loves running and Tessa likes to cycle and both enjoy the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside with children and camera in tow.

Chris and Jo Preston

Chris and Jo married and moved to Didcot in 2000 due to it being a convenient town halfway between Oxford and Reading where their jobs were based. They started attending The King's Church when it was only 6 months old and quickly felt at home, developing a big heart for the town and the people in it. Chris still works in Reading as a Production Manager in a print company and Jo is a physiotherapist in the NHS. They have 3 children who bring them much joy. Their particular responsibilities in the church are overseeing the worship team, co-ordination of small groups, financial oversight and helping to lead the popular toddler group Coffee & Kids.
